BAIN & COMPANY CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS DIGITAL ADVISORY SERVICES TO HELP COMPANIES ACCELERATE TRANSFORMATIONS, DELIVER RESULTS

New ADAPT offering combines the firm’s strategic expertise with its digital capabilities to provide an integrated offering for clients

San Francisco – Aug.16, 2017 – Consumers are excited by the impact of the newest digital technologies – whether artificial intelligence, machine learning, or virtual reality – and they expect their favorite brands to keep pace. For many executives, however, the rapid proliferation of digital is daunting. Bain & Company research finds that only one in four senior executives actually feel prepared to lead their companies through a successful digital transformation in order to create practical, tangible and repeatable results.

Bain believes that being a digital leader doesn’t just mean building a digital business; it means getting business results in a digital world. When companies weave digital tightly into their strategy, they can unlock both core transformation and new business innovation. These generate dual engines for a company’s growth – even amid future digital disruptions.

Given the importance of digital in all industries and aspects of business – from streamlining operations to enhancing customer experience – Bain has adopted a ‘digital inside’ approach. The firm embeds digital capabilities into all of its industry and functional practice areas, rather than treating it as a stand-alone business, with offerings such as the Advanced Digital and Product Team (ADAPT).

ADAPT is an in-house team of Bain experts that accelerates innovation and transformation for clients that includes:

  • Digital analytics to leverage Bain’s existing Advanced Analytics Practice
  • Digital marketing to expand clients’ test-and-learn capabilities

“Digital is embedded into everything we do at Bain, across all industries and disciplines,” said Elizabeth Spaulding, who leads the firm’s global Digital Practice. “ADAPT reflects our integrated approach by merging Bain’s digital, advanced analytics and IT capabilities with our cross-industry expertise to pilot new digital practices internally that will enhance our clients’ results.”

ADAPT is part of Bain’s overall ‘digital ecosystem’ that gives clients access to both the firm’s digital and industry experts.

Recognizing the rising need for more tailored, experiential digital advisory services around the world, Bain has created regional Bain Digital Hubs. These hubs provide companies with on-the-ground channel expertise rooted in the nuance of local digital trends, infrastructure and capabilities.
