Katelyn Atherton

Katelyn Atherton is a member of our Bain Academy℠ practice and an expert in professional development topics, focusing on the design and delivery of capability building programs.

Katelyn advises both domestic and international Fortune 500 organizations on upskilling their workforce through topics including Agile innovation, commercial excellence, decision effectiveness, and leadership development.

She recently worked with a leading consumer goods company to design and launch an Agile center of excellence to lead the organization through a transformation of its innovative processes. She has also worked with a large industrial conglomerate to embed the strategic thinking methodology to up level their long-term strategy planning processes.

Additionally, Katelyn regularly advises learning and development and transformation professionals, helping them fine-tune their capability building programs to yield lasting results.

Apart from her direct client work, she is actively involved in Bain’s Green Team, which fosters and promotes local and global initiatives to combat climate change. She also regularly leads training workshops for social enterprises working to combat climate change and social injustice.

Katelyn originally joined us in our Sydney office in 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from The University of Texas at Austin and her MBA from INSEAD.
