Andrea Petronio is the head of the firm's Italian Retail practice and a senior member of the EMEA Consumer Products practice.
Andrea has more than 25 years of consulting experience with Bain. He advises clients on issues ranging from strategy to operations across retail and consumer product sectors within EMEA.
Andrea holds deep expertise in topics including M&A, post-merger integration, performance improvement, commercial excellence, supply chain, organization, own products, customer strategy and growth beyond the core.
His core sectors of expertise include grocery, food service, drugstore, travel retail, beauty, apparel and dept. stores, consumer electronics, DIY, and furniture. He has also served the most relevant PEGs in major deals in retail and adjacent sectors.
His core sectors of expertise include hypermarkets, supermarkets, C&C, discounters, department and apparel specialty stores, DIY, furniture and perfumery, as well as consumer electronics and food retailing and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Bain, Andrea worked for Nestlé and another management consulting firm.
He holds a cum laude degree in statistics and economics from the University of Bologna.
