According to a Bain & Company study, banks have come a long algid way since the systemic 2008 crisis. They had to find solutions in the midst of a maremagnum of bad debts, unstable markets and economic uncertainties.

Currently, Basel III strengthens standards for private financial institutions and introduces new regulatory requirements on bank liquidity and bank leverage.
