U.S. large supermarket chain Safeway launched premium private brand “Zero (0)” in 2005 and have released more than 300 organic agricultural products. They provide not only fresh foods such as fruits, vegetables, eggs, dairy products and meat but also process foods including assorted beverages, breads, cookies and frozen foods. The retailer focuses on promoting healthy organic food though the prices are 30% higher than ordinary products.
