Thierry Catfolis

Thierry Catfolis is a leading expert in Bain Supply Chain Edge.

During his time at Bain, Thierry has gained expertise in a broad range of functional areas including supply chain management, manufacturing excellence, inventory management, post-acquisition value creation, operational due diligence, business unit strategy, organizational change, mergers & acquisitions and full potential improvements. He advises clients across industries including financial services, consumer electronics, private equity, utilities and industrials.

Prior to joining Bain in 1999, Thierry worked as a team leader in MIS Manufacturing for UCB Chemicals and as a research assistant at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Thierry earned MSc degrees in Chemical Engineering and Applied Economics, cum laude, and a PhD degree in Engineering, summa cum laude, from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Thierry is fluent in Dutch, English and French.
