Andrea Oldrini

Andrea Oldrini is a member of our EMEA Financial Services practice, and has more than 10 years of consulting experience with Bain. He has served clients across EMEA, South America and Southeast Asia in industries such as banking, insurance, asset management, payments, private equity and export credit agencies.

Andrea’s expertise covers a wide range of topics, from commercial due diligence to risk management. In recent years, he has supported financial institutions in successful turnarounds, M&A activities, post-merger acquisitions, IPOs and NPL-deleveraging projects. He has been involved in some of the most complex banking M&A operations in the Italian market.

He holds deep expertise in the cards and payments sectors, where he works with clients to explore opportunities emerging from new regulations.

Prior to joining Bain, he worked in the capital market division of JP Morgan London.

Andrea holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also holds master’s degrees in nuclear engineering from Politecnico di Milano and in applied mathematics from École Centrale Paris.
