Management consultants are also known as "doctors for companies." They make a diagnosis of corporate management and offer advice as a third party. In 2013, they topped Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training's list of the most promising jobs for the next 10 years. Consultants help organizations make difficult decisions and present systematic and reasonable solutions.
Dokyun Kim, a partner at Bain & Company, calls them "tutors for companies." Jungsu Kim, also a Bain partner, explains that consultants "offer advice on various demands and concerns of different organizations by industry and function," adding, "Their advice should be scientific and logical to help the organizations achieve their goals."
