Jim Wininger is a member of our Utilities and Alternative Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Mergers & Acquisitions and Divestitures practices.
He has more than 15 years of management consulting experience, throughout which he has advised clients on a range of issues, including corporate growth strategy, business unit strategy, organizational redesign and performance improvement. He is particularly practiced in corporate portfolio strategy, focusing on the execution of separations and carve-outs.
Prior to joining us in 2009, Jim worked for another global consulting firm.
He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, where he received the William Michael Shermet Award. He also holds a B.A. in economics and history from Vanderbilt University.
In his personal time, Jim serves as vice-chair of Lifeline Animal Project, which works to end the euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in metro Atlanta shelters. It is the managing organization of Fulton County Animal Services and the DeKalb County Animal Services shelter.
