Jeongsoo Choi leads Bain's Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice (Oil, Chemicals, Energy & Natural Resource, EV battery supply chains) and is an active contributor to Bain's global Mergers & Acquisitions, Performance Improvement and Sustainability & Responsibility practices.
Since joining Bain in 2007, Jeongsoo has served clients in various industries, with strong focus in the chemicals, EV battery value chain, Oil & Gas downstream, advanced materials, and airline. He has covered a wide range of corporate strategies such as full potential growth strategy, value creation, new business/country expansion strategy as well as, performance improvement topics, such as cost transformation, commercial excellence and R&D innovation.
He also has extensive projects experiences for Korean and multi-national companies covers portfolio strategy, new business strategy, M&A/JV/PMI, cost reduction, transformation, organization and R&D.

Before joining Bain, he worked for the Institute for Soldier Nanotechnology at MIT as a research engineer, IBM Almaden Research Center and Stanford University as a post-doctoral researcher.
He earned his BS, MS and PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Seoul National University.
