James Sawabini

James Sawabini is a leader in our Private Equity practice.

His clients include several of the most successful private equity funds in the world. James primarily focuses on due diligence of technology businesses with a particular focus on enterprise software, as well as post-acquisition value creation.

During his time at Bain, James has supported clients on 70+ different assets, spanning horizontal and vertical software, including cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, customer support, healthcare IT and various tech-enabled services businesses.

Before joining us, James was an entrepreneur building solar businesses in emerging markets. He graduated from Harvard Business School, where he met his wife. He is also a graduate of Duke University and Philips Academy.
