Emily Piggott

Emily Piggott is a member of our EMEA Consumer Products, Full Potential Transformation and Change practices, with a deep passion for large and complex strategic change programmes.

She has extensive cross-industry experience in supporting clients in end-to-end transformations across retail, telco, mining, and CP with a focus on leadership alignment.  Emily has spent the last ~12 years with Bain, of which 10+ have been spent consulting in Southern and West Africa. She has completed over 35 projects for clients on the continent.

Emily also brings deep expertise in capability building. She was one of the co-founders of The Africa Bain Academy which to date has trained >80 Executives. She also co-led Bain’s Global Virtual Collaboration Centre of Excellence in 2020 in response to Covid. 

She has a passion for driving diversity and inclusion at Bain. Emily leads our Women@Bain efforts in Africa and has co-authored work on Gender (dis)parity in the workplace, focused on South Africa.

Emily has a BA from the University of Oxford, where she focused on Climate Change and Biodiversity. 

In her spare time Emily enjoys chasing after her young daughter, spending time running South Africa’s beautiful trails, and Ironman triathlons.
