Egil Becker

Egil Becker is a member of our Logistics, Transportation, Telecommunications and Private Equity (PE) practices.

He recently served as a partner for Qvartz prior to the firm's integration with us, which collectively formed our new Nordics practice, in early 2020. 

Egil principally advises his clients on strategy, transformation and corporate development, including reorganization and support function excellence. His recent work has incorporated:

• More than a decade of advising a major telecommunications player across geographies;
• A multi-year transformation for an incumbent postal and logistics player;
• Guiding ship owners, operators and services on operational improvement; and
• Leading commercial due diligence work for both PE and industry clients.

Prior to joining Qvartz in 2015, Egil spent more than 10 years with another premier global consulting firm.

He holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), which included an exchange as a second-year MBA student at the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School (USA).

He also formerly served as a Sergeant and squad leader for the Royal Norwegian Marines.

He is married with three children and has strong passions for both watching and participating in sports, as well as the outdoors.
