Overview

With more than 10,000 employees and a $5.8 billion market cap, the Hera Group is a leading provider of energy, water, waste management and related utility services, operating in Italy. We helped the company accelerate generative AI development and adoption, in part by working closely with company management to envision how the technology can impact performance. We also worked together to build a comprehensive, flexible, and detailed roadmap that prioritizes >150 use cases into waves of implementation spanning all group business areas.

Outcomes

Our three-month engagement enabled the Hera Group to build a flexible, innovative, and technology-agnostic platform to support its AI vision and align the organization behind evolving opportunities and operating principles. A proof-of-concept contact center chatbot that can potentially support several customer operations processes is the first of many AI-powered capabilities the Group will roll out over the program’s subsequent waves.

Hera has prioritized more than 150 generative AI use cases across all business areas.
