ROLE OBJECTIVE 

The Bain Market Reputation team's goal is to promote Bain's brand, support sectors to establish themselves as experts in their respective fields, and to support our leadership team as they develop and build relationships with their target clients. You will play an integral role, developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to ensure that we are reaching our clients and alumni with relevant Bain content, supporting the delivery of premium and differentiated events, and maintaining the integrity of our CRM system. You will contribute to developing Bain's awareness locally, working with media and relying on social media and digital tools.

Within the Market Reputation team, you will join the Amsterdam, Brussels & Paris cluster, which is composed of four other colleagues. You will work closely with your manager, who is based in Brussels, and have weekly meetings with the whole team to share best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

  • Be the central point of reference for all marketing-related questions in the Amsterdam office.
  • Develop the social media and employer branding strategy aligned with marketing targets.
  • Participate as a proactive member of the BE/NL/FR cluster and EMEA conference calls & meetings.

PRESS RELATIONS

  • Management, coordination, and proactive driving of the PR agency: weekly meetings, monitoring, and ensuring tasks are completed within the allotted timeframes.
  • Support the communications team in designing, writing, and producing content derived from analyses and research studies of the firm.
  • Disseminate global reports from Bain & Company in the local press by working closely with the local press agency.
  • Monitor Bain publications on a global scale and conduct daily strategic monitoring (competitors).
  • Assist media spokespersons in developing their messages and managing their public statements.
  • Assist in interviews to ensure a smooth process and to provide feedback to the spokespersons.

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Manage requests and organize the editorial calendar in coordination with different department heads.
  • Create, edit, and publish engaging content for Amsterdam’s social media.
  • Coordinate regular social media campaigns to promote company achievements, events, and initiatives.
  • Employ targeted advertising to reach more potential clients.
  • Analyze the performance of social media campaigns and paid ads to improve engagement and optimize targeted advertising.
  • Update and maintain the Bain Amsterdam homepage and career page with relevant and up-to-date content.
  • Proactively ensure all leadership team members constantly have accurate biographies/profiles on LinkedIn.
  • Conduct account clean-ups as part of marketing campaigns to maintain contact data accuracy.

EVENTS

  • Manage requests and organize the event calendar (clients & alumni events) in coordination with the leadership team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing events from conception to execution (venue, catering, creation of materials, invitations, etc.).
  • Manage, in person, the event on the day so that the guest experience is appropriately professional, premium, and branded as needed.

ABOUT YOU

  • Ideally educated to Master's level.
  • Previous experience in a communications or marketing role.
  • Bilingual (Dutch and English) with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Canva.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Premiere Pro would be a plus.
