Karl Gridl

Karl Gridl is a member of our Financial Market Infrastructure and Banking practices.

He has more than 10 years of experience in management consulting, with a strong focus on capital markets, financial institutions, fintech, and venture capital/private equity firms. He drives Bain’s crypto and digital asset-related activities in EMEA and advises clients on strategy, commercial due diligence, M&A, and ecosystem build-up. Karl also acts as an advisor to a number of startups in the fintech/blockchain space.

Prior to joining us, he was a group-wide strategy director at UBS, where he consulted on strategic implications of regulatory trends and developments in various jurisdictions.

Karl holds a bachelor's in business administration and a master's in banking and finance from the University of St. Gallen.
