Holger Lipowsky

Dr. Holger Lipowsky is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing and Services, Aerospace and Defense, and Public Sector practices.

He has 12 years of consulting experience, with a focus on the aerospace and defense industry. Prior to his consulting career, he spent seven years as an aircraft and engine engineer at Lufthansa Technik, Rolls-Royce, and MTU Aero Engines.

Holger specializes in strategy, transformation, and performance improvement and partners with both German and international clients. 

He studied aerospace engineering, with a focus on aircraft engines, at the University of Stuttgart and Cambridge University. He completed his doctorate as part of a Ph.D. program at the Institute of Aircraft Propulsion Systems at the University of Stuttgart in cooperation with MTU Aero Engines in Munich. His doctoral thesis focused on the condition monitoring of aircraft engines, thus laying the analytical foundation for MTU Aero Engines' current Engine Trend Monitoring System (ETM).
