Evren Sungur is a leader in our Performance Improvement practice and a member of our Retail and Financial Services practices.
Evren leads transformational programs that position clients to deliver significant financial results through cost transformation, dramatically improve their performance in the near-term and sustain this high performance in the long-run. He is one of our foremost thought leaders on game-changing cost transformation disciplines, including Accelerated Performance Transformation, Zero-based Budgeting (ZBB), Zero-based Redesign (ZBR) and Shared Services.
In addition to corporate clients, he has advised numerous Private Equity funds on commercial due diligence and portfolio company value creation planning.
Evren’s practiced advisory skills have been lauded across engagements, with a past Fortune 500 CFO describing his work as “the highest-ROI investment for the company,” and another Fortune 500 CEO calling the work as “the best consulting work he has seen in his career.”
Beyond his case work, Evren leads our Boston recruiting efforts for The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is also our Boston office's Building Entrepreneurial Leaders program manager.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the insurance industry and for another consulting firm.
Evren holds an MBA from Chicago Booth, as well as both an M.A. and a B.A. from Brandeis University. He is a graduate of the United World College USA.
Outside of the office, he and his wife are heavily involved with the Boston Children’s Museum and regularly support its philanthropic efforts, including co-chairing its annual gala, as well as Massachusetts General Hospital's cancer research efforts. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, playing basketball and freediving.
