Austin Kim is a member of our Aerospace & Defense practice.
In his practice role, Austin is responsible for the A&D practice's IP development, strategic and operational planning, commercial development, and managing a growing network of industry advisors and partnerships.
Additionally, he has served several corporate and private equity clients within A&D and across other industries. Prior to rejoining us, he worked in corporate strategy and business development at The Walt Disney Company.
He has also had operational experience as a general manager at two early-stage technology startups and as a company commander in the U.S. Army, where he received the Bronze Star Medal and Combat Action Badge for meritorious service.
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. in Economics through the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
