Alex Bhak

Alex Bhak is a member of our Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) and Transformation practices. 

With more than 20 years of management consulting experience, Alex advises clients across TMT sectors, including fixed and mobile communications, television, Internet, technology services and equipment, interactive entertainment and B2B media, as well as TV and video content and distribution.

His recent engagements have covered corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), customer strategy, cost management and commercial excellence.

Alex has also led numerous diligence initiatives for private equity clients.

While with the firm, Alex has:

• Led the turnaround of a $3B (in revenue) telecommunications company, helping drive 6x improvement in equity value
• Designed the strategy overhaul of a leading video game publisher
• Advised on the largest ($15B) leveraged buyout of a European telco; and
• Led the service operations redesign of a leading global public service broadcaster.

Alex leads manager and principal recruiting in London and is the founder of Veterans at Bain (VABs) in the UK.

A United States Air Force veteran, Alex also worked for Accenture and Asiana Airlines prior to joining us in 2004.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in physics.
