WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 


As a member of the Northeast Recruiting team, the Recruiting Associate will provide administrative support to the Associate Consultant Recruiting team. The Associate will assist in the planning and execution of on-campus and in-office Associate Consultant Intern (ACI) and Associate Consultant (AC) recruiting efforts, as well as other undergraduate recruiting efforts and programming. This role requires a hybrid work setup, with the expectation that the candidate will be in the office 2-3 or more days per week .

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO  


  • Help develop annual recruiting calendar 
  • Attend recruiting events (on-campus, in-office, and outside of the office) and support other team members in executing event details, including managing event invites, student sign up, scheduling and RSVPs, catering, nametags, place cards, etc. 
  • Assist in screening logistics, including resume reviews, scheduling students, creating recruit information, booking travel and sending confirmations 
  • Support the interview process – create interview schedules, select interviewers, run debrief meeting, support next step decisions and manage communication of dispositions to candidates 
  • Support all off-cycle hiring efforts, including general application screening/management, referral tracking, proactive sourcing, etc. 
  • Work with office recruiters to assist with logistics for interview days, including food, space, travel, and materials  
  • Help support offer and closing process 
  • Support and participate in New York office AC/ACI programming, including campus events, welcome weekends, summer intern programming, etc. 
  • Communicate and correspond with recruits on a regular basis, including referrals. Maintain incoming inquiries, applications, and generate appropriate responses in a timely manner 
  • Manage external marketing communications with external vendors, school career offices and on-campus clubs and organizations, including email campaigns, social media, invitations, campus flyers and room bookings on campus 
  • Provide clear, timely responses to consulting staff involved in recruiting (e.g., interviewer schedules, managing commitments, recruiting events, etc.) 
  • Support off-season communication, including new hire integration and office “first day” emails 
  • Assist in events commitments process (“event planner”) for all NE AC-related recruiting programming and related activities 
  • Utilize recruiting system for data entry, application/event management, and applicant tracing/reporting in a timely and accurate manner 
  • Assist with recruit expense reimbursements  
  • Attend team meetings and schedule follow-up meetings as necessary 
  • Update and distribute offer letters and offeree gifts 
  • Monitor and proactively maintain recruiting supplies, including marketing materials, gifts and office supplies 
  • Perform other administrative duties as requested or as responsibilities dictate 


ABOUT YOU 


  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred 
  • 0-2 years of administrative and/or Recruiting support experience, preferably in a professional services firm, or combination of educational and work experience 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal communication, customer service and organizational skills 
  • Comfort interacting with recruits, vendors, and Bainies of varying tenure 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment 
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment and handle highly confidential information in a professional manner 
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral member of various teams 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and time management skills  
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and juggle multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS and database skills 
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong customer service focus  
  • Flexibility with hours; ability to work overtime and evenings as needed 


U.S. Compensation Information  


Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).  


Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:   


  • In New York City, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $59,500 - $71,500; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level  
  • For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level  
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus  
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation  
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
