Position Summary:
The Analyst, Marketing Analytics, is part of a global team focused on advancing the impact of Bain’s marketing activity. You will use advanced analytics to support global teams, develop and automate dashboards, and build robust data infrastructure to meet Bain’s evolving marketing needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Dashboard Creation and Automation (40%) -
- Create and automate dashboards to support the needs of global marketing teams.
- Develop data visualizations using tools like Tableau and PowerBI, ensuring that dashboards are fast, user-friendly, consistent, and aligned with business needs.
- Build, maintain, and execute repeatable reporting models for Bain marketing campaigns
- Help to manage Bain’s Analytics roadmap.
Data Infrastructure Development & Maintenance(40%) -
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure to support the Marketing Analytics function, ensuring data quality and accessibility to enable marketing insights.
- Utilize SQL and other data tools to manage, transform, and automate data flows, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to building a robust data ecosystem to support analytics.
- Responsible for the data connections of a range of marketing tools.
Stakeholder Management and Communication (20%) -
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery of results.
- Understand Bain’s marketing priorities and translate those into Analytics use cases.
Experience -
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an analyst, marketing analytics, or business intelligence role.
- Experience in a professional services or marketing setting is preferred.
- Experience working with Google, Adobe, and other major marketing platforms is highly preferred.
- Experience working with relational databases and performing ETL processes is essential.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python is required; familiarity with other analytical tools is a plus.
- Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools, including Tableau, PowerBI or similar.
- Experience with Git and modern software development workflows is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong data wrangling and visualization capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize analysis and present insights clearly.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, especially in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and maintaining confidentiality.
