Martin Niederste-Ostholt

Martin Niederste-Ostholt is a member of our Performance Improvement and Media & Entertainment practices.

As part of his role at Bain, Martin has led a performance transformation and support function organisation redesign programmes across a variety of industries including advertising holdco, audience measurement, as well as for a leading UK insurer.

Beyond client work, Martin is a leader in our Global Development community in London.

Prior to joining Bain, Martin pursued a Bachelor of Arts in astrophysical sciences at Princeton University and a PhD in astrophysics at the University of Cambridge. He conducted research as a post-doc at the Institute of Astronomy in Cambridge.

Martin is originally from Germany but based in London with his wife, their son, and Wire Haired Dachshund. He enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants, and exploring London museums.
