Gero Freudenstein is a member of our Financial Services and Enterprise Technology practices.
In his more than 20 years of advisory experience, Gero has worked with leading financial institutions across Europe, spanning the retail banking, SME and corporate banking, and transaction banking sectors. He mainly advises clients on IT modernization and transformation, IT cost and efficiency, and IT post-merger-integration.
His key engagements have included:
- Strategy development for the IT modernization of European banks;
- Supporting the cost transformation for major European banks, with a focus on IT cost;
- Successfully merging two local banks, including supporting back-office and IT functions.
Prior to joining us in 2017, Gero was a partner for another global consulting firm in Frankfurt.
He holds an MBA from the European Business School at Oestrich-Winkel.
