Abel Colaço

Abel Colaço is a member of our Financial Services practice. 

Since joining the firm in 2010, Abel has driven engagements addressing new market entry assessment, go-to-market strategy, strategic planning and IT project effectiveness, strategy redefinition, organization design, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and full potential transformation.

He has partnered with large national and multinational groups across industries, spanning financial services, insurance, oil & gas, retail, pharmaceuticals, the public sector and telecommunications.

Prior to joining the firm, he spent several years as a business analyst in business development and strategic marketing for Portugal Telecom. He was also a guest lecturer on economics at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal).

Abel holds an MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore) and an undergraduate degree in economics from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

He is fluent in Portuguese and English and has working knowledge of Spanish.
