Michael Heric is a senior member of our Technology & Cloud Services practice. He leads the Corporate Support and Services Operations solutions in our global Performance Improvement practice. He also leads Bain's global automation capability.
Michael has worked with leading providers across the technology ecosystem, particularly IT hardware, software and services. He has led engagements across strategy, performance improvement, M&A and organization.
As the leader of our Corporate Support solution, Michael works with leading companies across a range of industries to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support functions, including IT, Finance, HR, Legal and Real Estate and Facilities Management. He brings deep expertise in demand management, process redesign, organizational design, digital enablement and automation, shared services and outsourcing and offshoring.
Michael leads our automation capabilities globally, which is part of Vector, our digital delivery platform. Michael leads our Automation Center of Excellence, a team of dedicated experts in automation, to support clients in their automation journeys to achieve more value faster. We support the full range of automation technologies, whether that may be scripting, workflow automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), low code/no-code development, cognitive/AI-based automation, and many more.
Michael also leads our Service Operations solutions globally and has broad experience helping companies improve their customer experience, increase their operational effectiveness and lower their cost structure.
He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, with high distinction as a Baker Scholar. He is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, from which he received a Bachelor of Science in economics, concentrating in finance, from the Wharton School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in international relations, both with distinction.
Michael is a member of the advisory board of the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
