John Day

John Day is a member of our Healthcare & Life Sciences and Private Equity practices.

John advises clients on corporate strategy and also works closely with financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on commercial diligence and growth-led value creation. His work has spanned the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, healthcare IT, medical technology, and healthcare & pharmaceutical services.

In addition to his client work, John spent 3 years leading our Americas Healthcare Private Equity practice area team where he oversaw commercial operations, growth strategy, and IP.

John received his MBA and MEd from the University of Virginia and his MAcc and BS from the University of Alabama, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. John is a CPA (inactive) and worked in public accounting prior to joining Bain.
