Herbert Lee is a member of our Financial Services practice.
He has 20+ years of experience working in the industry, primarily with insurance and wealth and asset management companies.
Herbert's expertise is on corporate strategy, firm-wide transformation, and customer experience, including the Net Promoter System®. He also focuses on digital topics including digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
In addition to various corporate projects, he is specialized in diligence work with private equity clients that are interested in financial services and fintech targets. Herbert has deep knowledge in Fintech, including digital payment, virtual banking, and insurance.
Prior to joining Bain, Herbert held a senior position for another consulting company, and prior to that, he was with Goldman Sachs and Allianz Global Investors, driving regional strategic initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region.
He holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and a bachelor’s degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
