Giantommaso D'Astolto

Giantommaso D'Astolto is a member of our Energy & Natural Resources practice, with a particular focus on Strategy.

He has worked with many of the primary energy players in Europe across the entire gas & power value chain. His work primarily surrounds corporate and business unit strategy, and his case portfolio includes various diligences for both corporate and private equity funds.

Beyond his client work, he is active in the recruiting activities for the Milan Office, supporting partnerships with academic institutions.

Giantommaso has also managed a mid-sized Venture Capital fund focused on the Italian market, for which he scouted, screened, diligenced and supported start-ups growth across different industries (from industrial services to retail)

Prior to joining Bain, he gained experience in advanced manufacturing in Germany. He graduated in Management Engineering with a double degree from Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Torino.

In his personal time, Giantommaso is passionate about football and thriller/sci-fi movies.
