Eser Tireli is a member of our Private Equity and Advanced Analytics practices with deep expertise in Data & Analytics Products and Applications of Alternative Data. He has over 10 years of consulting and analytics product development experience with Bain.
Eser leads Bain’s efforts to use data, analytics, and generative AI throughout the investment lifecycle, ranging from deal sourcing to portfolio performance improvement. He leads a team of over 50 people who develop data and analytics applications and deliver bespoke analytics for various projects. The team supported over 5,000 projects through its applications and services.
Eser co-leads our efforts to bring GenAI to investors in EMEA. He has met with close to 50 investors and worked with several of them on various projects, including internal fund operations, due diligence, portfolio assessments, and transformation work with portfolio companies.
He is also the General Manager for Helix, Bain’s proprietary data platform that aggregates over 100 billion data points from 50 million+ companies worldwide. Using this dataset, the Helix team crafts analytics applications that use ML and Generative AI techniques to guide decisions throughout the Private Equity Investment Lifecycle, particularly in sourcing, screening, and diligence.
Eser earned his MBA from INSEAD. He holds an MS in Industrial and Operations Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where he was a Tauber Institute Fellow.
