Trent Murphey

Trent is a member of our Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice, with particular expertise in Automotive. 

He has worked with some of the world's largest automotive OEMs, suppliers, and eco-systems to help them navigate the upcoming mobility evolution. Across topics vehicle electrification, charging networks, and autonomous driving, he has supported industry leaders and investors as they accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and profitable future of transportation.

Beyond his client work, he has lead local training initiatives through most of his career and has been deeply involved in recruiting, both at the MBA level and now leading undergraduate recruiting efforts with a focus on hiring and retaining diverse talent.

Before joining the firm, Trent served as a Teach For America core member and received his MBA from Darden at University of Virginia, where he was a Shermet scholar.

Trent remains passionate about education, and is now involved in the Dallas public charter system, where his elementary-aged children attend.
