Michael Pesch

Dr. Michael Pesch is a member of our Performance Improvement and Advanced Manufacturing & Services practice. He focuses on Bain Accelerated Transformation (BAT) and has led numerous large-scale transformations as well as restructuring programmes across DACH and EMEA.

Michael has more than 20 years of management consulting experience, during which he has completed many strategic and operational transformation projects in different industries, such as aviation, automotive, materials, engineering, high-tech, machinery and telecommunications. He is also a renowned expert on co-determination, general and administrative expense optimization, cash management, working capital optimization and re-financing.

Prior to joining Bain, Michael worked for various other consulting firms focusing on advising international clients on transformations across the industry and private equity sector.

He studied at the University of Nancy (France) and Justus Liebig University in Gießen (Germany), from which he also holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration.
