A growing number of Americans are worried that the negative effects of Covid-19 on their livelihoods will be permanent.
The latest Bain/Dynata survey of US consumers, conducted March 30 through April 1, finds that nearly half of the 23% of Americans who have experienced a layoff don’t expect to return to their jobs. And, of the 9% of business owners who say they have closed due to Covid-19, 15% don’t expect to reopen when the pandemic ends.
