POSITION SUMMARY

Bain Academy builds client capabilities through a range of learning options including face-to-face programs, virtual facilitation and self-directed digital content. We are currently embarking on a process of increasing the use of digital/online learning including launching “next generation” eLearning learning content/delivery to complement our award-winning in-person programs.

The Specialist Digital Learning Innovation will be part of Bain Academy’s digital team, working to build, customize and launch client eLearning programs as well as serving as the first line of platform support for Bain Academy clients.

In addition, the Specialist may be asked to contribute to building Bain Academy’s digital assets and marketing materials, and will work closely with Bain's consulting teams to identify the necessary customizations and materials needed.

The Specialist’s responsibilities will grow with experience over time; they are responsible for learning and mastering multiple skill sets required for the role. RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the customization and delivery of eLearning training programs – 45%

  • Customize and launch eLearning programs based on Bain Academy, case team, and clients input
    • Collect and incorporate input from case teams to drive course customization and launch
    • Act as liaison between case teams and Bain Academy during the launch process
    • Take ownership for ensuring materials are zero-defect and suggest changes where needed
    • Create a workplan to ensure clear roles and responsibilities among stakeholders and meet deadlines; use influence to manage stakeholders according to the workplan
  • Serve as the primary point of post-launch contact for client support on the platform, addressing inquiries and requests, and escalating to appropriate team members or tech support as necessary
  • Customize and share learner progress reports and lists of top learners, and send targeted communications to learners during programs
  • Capture Net Promoter Score (NPS) and gather feedback for eLearning programs, creating summary feedback slides to share with case and client leadership when needed
  • Liaise with Bain Academy team members to set up and distribute learner certificates
  • Conduct live platform demonstrations for case teams and clients when needed

Build Bain Academy’s Digital IP and tools – 25%

  • Help build Bain Academy’s digital toolkit for delivering training
  • Help create and package visually impactful digital assets and collateral for marketing and courses
  • Acquire new graphics skills and software as needed to design new programs and digital assets (such as demos, expert or animated videos, AI-based voiceovers, takeaways, and templates)
  • Collaborate with vendors to find the most effective production method and execute if required

Support Bain Academy Project Teams – 20%

  • Support building training exercises as well as delivering & enhancing live trainings
  • Take ownership for ensuring materials are zero-defect and suggest changes where needed

Innovation – 5%

  • Continuously scan the market for new digital training tools, sharing insights with the team regarding tools, technology, design and instructional design trends, and industry best practices
  • Consistently contribute ideas for process enhancements, innovation opportunities, and improvements to platform features

Extraordinary teams – 5%

  • Play an active role to help drive forward Bain Academy’s vision, values and goals
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve and reach out to senior members for guidance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of professional experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Experience in developing communications in various formats for a wide range of audiences
    • Experience in instructional design preferred, including
    • Experience with computer-based learning development and content authoring software
    • Experience working with LMS and LXP platforms
  • Design skills preferred, including
    • Experience creating audio/video assets using development software
    • Solid understanding of design principles including typography, hierarchy, contrast, repetition, balance, color, and space
  • Desire to master advanced uses of software and platforms and ability to adopt new technology for efficient design, development, and delivery of training programs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across different cultures
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
