Head of our Americas Agribusiness practice with a robust diligence and post-acquisition case register.
Scott Duncan is the leader of our Americas Agribusiness practice. An expert in our broader Energy & Natural Resources, Private Equity and Supply Chain Management practices, he has more than two decades of industry and consulting experience.
Scott has heavily influenced our proprietary agribusiness perspectives on the long-term supply-demand landscape globally for crops, inputs and equipment.
He has also supported key diligence work across market sizing, market share and cost reduction potential. His acquisition targets have spanned multiple industries, including consumer products, industrial goods and services, healthcare, information services, technology and telecom.
He has also supported multiple post-acquisition cases and general strategy projects where he focused upon operating and market strategy refinement and development of tactical cost savings initiatives.
Scott's previously worked for a private equity firm and multiple industrial products companies. His PE work focused on on-site interaction with portfolio company management to improve operational effectiveness. This leveraged his prior industry experience, throughout which he had key P&L responsibility, managing business functions such as pricing, production scheduling, sourcing, logistics, product development and new business development.
