Ahmed Boshnak is leading the growth of our firm in Saudi Arabia. He has over 20 years of professional experience in Strategy Consulting, Financial Services, and Venture Capital.
Prior to joining us, Mr. Boshnak was the Managing Director of Emaar, the Economic City (EEC), a Saudi publicly listed company and the master developer of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). He led the full turnaround and transformation program to rebuild the leadership team, optimize business operations and restructure its long-term debt and capital structure.
He also founded Cornerstone Ventures, a GCC boutique turnaround advisory firm focused on providing strategy consulting, financial advisory, human capital development, and executive recruitment services to both private and public sector clients across the GCC, with special focus on Saudi Arabia. The company served over 70+ clients across various industries and delivered over 100+ projects with specific concentration on turnaround and transformation.
Prior to Cornerstone, Mr. Boshnak initially joined Bain & Company in 2010, advising clients in the both the private and public sector on strategy development, performance improvement, and organization governance. While at Bain, Mr. Boshnak’s industry focus covered financial services and sovereign wealth funds, family institutions, and private equity firms.
A Saudi national, Mr. Boshnak completed his MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business School, with concentration in finance and entrepreneurial management. He earned a bachelor degree with first honors in Electrical Engineering with concentration in Electronics and Communication from King Abdulaziz University. A recipient of HRHs Prince Abdulmajeed and HRH Prince Majed Bin Abdulaziz awards for his academic achievements, Mr. Boshnak is currently enrolled in MISK Foundation Leaders 2030 program delivered by Esade Business School.
