Transforming the Global Food System

The CEO Guide to Food System Transformation, a new report produced by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in partnership with Bain & Company, serves as a call to action for business leaders to transform our global food system in the next decade. 

The guide envisions a world in which more than 9 billion people are living well, and sustainably, on a healthy planet by 2050. This transformation is needed to protect ecosystems and preserve human rights, as well as the livelihoods of farmers and other workers in the food system, while also promoting a healthier and more sustainable diet. The report outlines seven pathways CEOs can explore achieve these ends.
