We welcome students who identify as women or non-binary to join us for a workshop where you'll get to experience the work of a strategy consultant. You'll join an extraordinary team for training and practice. At the end of the program you will interview for a position at Bain and have the opportunity to win a scholarship.

Join us for this workshop and have the opportunity to interview as an Associate Consultant at Bain, one of the world’s top strategy consulting firms. At the end, one candidate will be awarded our scholarship, and all candidates will be considered for a full-time Associate Consultant position.

How to apply for this program
This program is for students who identify as women or non-binary in their penultimate year of undergraduate university, of any degree.
We’re also looking for strong academic achievement with great communication skills, drive, passion, and the energy to solve problems.

Applications for Australia’s True North Scholarship have closed for 2024 and will re-open in 2025.
Applying to Bain Australia’s True North Scholarship offers you the opportunity to receive:
- AU$20,000 scholarship
- A Bain mentor to provide guidance and access to a vast professional network
- A potential Associate Consultant job offer with Bain Australia after graduation
To be eligible to apply for the True North Scholarship you must identify as female or gender diverse, and be:
- A current penultimate year student enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (except MBA), due to graduate end of 2025 or mid-2026.
- Have completed a minimum of one-year full-time equivalent of University study at an Australia or New Zealand based University.
- Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
All True North Scholarship applicants will be considered for a full-time Associate Consultant position to start throughout 2026.
When applying you must include:
- CV (1-2 pages) including ATAR and/or WAM
- University transcripts
- Answers for the following scholarship application questions:
- What does 'True North' mean to you? Tell us about an experience/story you have had regarding 'True North.'
- At Bain, we often work in teams together with our clients, to tackle their most challenging problems. What is your favourite example of a team you have worked in to solve a problem?
- Is there any other information you would like to add before submitting your application for review?
