The Department

Creative Services, part of Bain's global Marketing organization, specializes in providing high-quality presentation design services supporting our consulting teams and practices. Our designers seamlessly integrate design expertise, storytelling techniques, and data visualization skills to create presentations that deliver insights with clarity and impact.

The Role

Based in our Global Business Services hub in Kuala Lumpur, as an Operations Specialist for workflow management you are the first point of contact in Creative Services for client teams and business partners for design requests and support. Your role is to actively scope and align on expectations for the work and assign to a designer for production.

Responsibilities

  • Support client teams and business partners to assess, prioritize and allocate resources for design requests
  • Support design requests, ensuring expectations are aligned, and that design requirements are met within established deadlines and fast turnarounds for customers, according to Bain and client brand standards
  • Autonomous and confident in balancing competing demands and making quick decisions
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve workflow systems or process issues. Contribute ideas that improve workflow processes, systems and technology
  • Accurately track project information, and timesheet data in accordance with department KPIs and service agreements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrate command of fundamental principles and techniques of design
  • Provide timely responses and routing of incoming work that demonstrates a thorough concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small
  • Balance day-to-day request needs with a high-degree of organizational and interpersonal skills leveraging team collaboration tools and championing tool best practices to junior team members to facilitate objectives/priorities efficiently, while flagging roadblocks as needed
  • Build and maintain a customer-centric, trusting and collaborative partnership with stakeholders in all service delivery touchpoints owning communuication through tools and aligned process
  • Excel individually and within collaborative teams to create and apply Workflow guidance while mentoring more junior team members

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
