Anuj Agarwal is a member of our Consumer Products practice.
Since joining us in 2011, Anuj has worked with both private equity and corporate clients across a wide range of industries. He is passionate about understanding consumer behavior and crafting relevant business opportunities. His expertise lies in commercial excellence, specifically in building strong brands and creating win-win opportunities for consumer product/durable companies and retailers.
Anuj has experience in both developed and developing countries, helping multiple companies successfully build value-creation plans. This includes rolling out global commercial excellence programs (such as Bain Brand Accelerator and RGM) and cost transformation programs.
Beyond his client work, Anuj has co-led multiple office initiatives, including Bain Amsterdam's "Thriving" initiative to ensure that local Bainies thrive both at and beyond the firm.
Anuj earned a dual degree in economics and statistics from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India. He also did an externship with HEINEKEN (across New Zealand and Amsterdam).
In his free time, Anuj loves to travel, enjoy different cuisines, and swim whenever possible.
