WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

As a member of the Bain Recruiting team, the Global Consultant Recruiting Programs and Internships Associate provides support to the Global Recruiting team. This Associate will play a critical role in the execution of several internship programs that collectively help recruits experience Bain across a range of functions – from General Management Consulting to our various Expert groups. The person in this role will help plan and execute these programs while collaborating with critical stakeholders, recruits, and numerous Bain Centers of Excellence. This is an important Associate position that will expand its scope as new programs and stakeholder needs emerge.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Strategy & Planning

  • Support strategic planning, coordination and execution for critical existing internship programs and newly created programs as they emerge
  • Work with management team to standardize processes and tasks across the Global Recruiting team for centralization and execution for newly created programs and internships
  • Participate in meetings with numerous Expert groups to gain insight into how Bain strategically builds programs to expand recruit’s knowledge of other roles at Bain


Program Support

  • Support in the ideation, design, and implementation of programmatic details
  • Utilize Bain Applicant Tracking System for event setup & ongoing event management (e.g., reminder emails, RSVP & attendance tracking) and ensure all appropriate parties are notified (e.g., office recruiting teams) 
  • Support program onboarding process
  • Build & send program surveys
  • Support program survey analysis 
  • Serve as primary contact for recruit-facing logistical questions 
  • Maintain up-to-date program trackers and follow up with recruits and recruiters about missing items, as needed
  • Coordinate post-program surveys and feedback tracking
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate

Event Staffing & Logistics

  • Coordinate pre-event logistics for in-person events (e.g., travel, hotel blocks, event space, food/beverage orders) and virtual events (e.g., Zoom links, setup of other event technology)
  • Coordinate staffing across events; ensuring Bain has enough coverage for events 
  • Schedule speaker and participant prep calls, as needed
  • Draft and send pre-program or event logistics memos to employees and recruits providing critical program or event information
  • Support post-program engagement opportunities with program participants 

   

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred along with 1-2 years of experience required, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Ability to represent Bain to prospective candidates and interact with senior Bain management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to multitask across competing projects
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral member of various teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS and database skills
  • Flexibility with hours; ability to work overtime and evenings as needed


U.S. Compensation Information

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain’s best in class benefits package (details listed below).

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:


  • In Illinois state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time hourly salary range for this role is between $25.24 - $30.05 placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level 
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus  
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation 
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date
