Michael Brookshire

Michael Brookshire is a member of our Healthcare & Life Sciences,  Strategy,  and Performance Improvement practices.  He serves as the Texas Office Head and manages our Austin, Houston, and Dallas offices.

Michael is primarily focused on healthcare and works extensively with providers, payers, and healthcare services companies. He leads our provider practice in the US, frequently advising health systems, academic medical centers, senior living centers, behavioral health organizations, outpatient clinics, and a wide range of physician groups. He also works with payers and healthcare services companies on a range of strategy, diversification, and operations topics.

He is the former leader of our Service Operations product globally and has broad experience helping companies improve their customer experience, increase their operational effectiveness and lower their cost structure.

He holds an MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He also graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering, summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.

Outside of Bain, Michael serves as Chairman of the Board of the North Texas Food Bank and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
