Yannick Thiry

Yannick Thiry is a member of Bain’s Procurement practice, as part of the firm’s broader Performance Improvement capability.

He brings over 15 years of procurement and operations experience, gained through management consulting and senior line management roles. His procurement expertise includes cost transformation, value capture, design-to-cost, as well as procurement operating model and organisation design.

At Bain, Yannick advises multinational clients on their procurement transformation across the machinery, metals, retail and healthcare sectors. He also oversees the Procurement practice’s global IP reinvention program.

Prior to joining Bain, he was the group head of procurement in a leading global retail technology company, where he built and lead the procurement function in a context of fast revenue growth and multiple acquisitions.

Yannick holds an MS from HEC Paris and a MEng from Centrale Nantes.
