Emily Magruder

Emily Magruder is a member of our Healthcare & Life Sciences and M&A and Divestitures practices.

An expert in transformational programs, Emily has worked across industries, with a focus on medtech and B2B services. She has extensive experience in growth and cost transformation, integration strategy and management, business process redesign, and commercial excellence. 

Prior to joining us, Emily was a Teach for America corps member in Brooklyn, New York, and spent a year working for the Steppingstone Foundation, a Boston-based nonprofit providing college access opportunities to low-income families. 

Beyond her client work, Emily is an active member of our training and recruiting teams, and she serves on both our Women@Bain and Education@Bain teams in Boston.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an M.Ed. from Bank Street College of Education, and a B.A. in East Asian Studies from Princeton University.  

A Boston native, she enjoys cooking, running, and reading.
