Edward Stone

Ed Stone is a leader in Bain's Utilities & Renewables practice. He is passionate about helping the UK Energy and Waste sectors to transform into wholly net zero and fully circular ecosystems.

Over the past 17 years, Ed has advised clients on achieving these transformations - with a focus on supporting nuclear generation, renewables generation, networks and trading; electric mobility and heat; and the waste to energy and recycling sectors.

Alongside value creation strategies, Ed's particular expertise is in operating model design and implementation (in both 'organic' and M&A contexts) - helping organisations work together to achieve transformative outcomes.

Appropriately - Ed also invests in helping Bain's organisation achieve its full potential - leading the people side of the London Utilities practice, and sponsoring all of London's efforts on best case experience.

Outside of work Ed is married to Helen and has 3 kids and 2 cats. He plays several instruments and is an avid motorsport enthusiast.
