Bain & Company names Mohit Wadan as Managing Partner for Australia and New Zealand business

SYDNEY – 28 January, 2025 – Bain & Company announced today that Mohit Wadan has been appointed as managing partner of the firm’s Australia and New Zealand business, effective 1 April, 2025.

With over 20 years of global consulting experience, Mohit was most recently the co-head of Bain’s Performance Improvement practice in Asia Pacific. He has deep experience in leading large-scale transformations, with a focus on the Financial Services sector. He joined Bain in 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Commerce from the University of Auckland.

In his new role as managing partner for Bain’s Australia and New Zealand business, Mohit will be responsible for overseeing the region’s growth, strategy, people, and operations. He will continue to be based in Bain’s Melbourne office.

Mohit succeeds Peter Stumbles who has led the Australia and New Zealand practice since 2019. Under Peter’s leadership, Bain’s Australia and New Zealand business has seen revenue grow organically at double digit annual growth rates, as well as doubled its partner team over the last six years. The business has been focused on supporting clients in transformation, technology, data and analytics. During this time, Bain & Company also acquired ArcBlue, an Australia-founded specialist procurement business, and Max Kelsen Consulting, an Australia-based provider of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
