Summary
The Senior Analyst, TSG Product Management owns a smaller product or plays a critical role within a larger product. This role translates customer needs into an actionable backlog and then partners with the technical team to ensure successful implementation
Responsibilities
Drive change requests and stakeholder engagement (50%)
- Understand key business objectives and strategy of the product from leadership
- Elicits requirements for enhancement requests/new functionality, working with users to find elegant
- solutions to meet their needs while balancing technical realities
- Identify, track and analyze key metrics, distilling to critical insights and actionable findings
- Drives appropriate pilots, customer communication & training as needed
Product Delivery (40%)
- Actively participates in appropriate Agile ceremonies for product
- Transform requirements into appropriate user stories at the right level of detail for the team with
- supporting materials like process flow diagrams as needed
- (Vendor products) Works with technical teams and vendors to continuously optimize for Bain experience, taking new features and use cases into account
- (Internal products) Acts as a resource for agile team, answering questions, testing the latest work, and providing input into work in progress
Domain Knowledge (10%)
- Develops, maintains, and demonstrates domain knowledge including both internal (Bain) and external (market) trends
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience as a product owner, business analyst or related field
- Associate's/Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Proficient with agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for understanding and addressing
- customer needs
- Defining, documenting and validating requirements including ability to slice bigger items into smaller,
- more bite sized pieces
- Strong thought partner, successful in collaborating with peers to come up with the best answer
- Everything in prior level + Backlog, Jira, Agile, process flow diagrams, prioritization
