Description & Requirements

ROLE PURPOSE

This role provides an opportunity for someone to own and drive financial and staffing initiatives - working directly with the Regional Finance and Regional Staffing lead, as well as the Staffing teams and Finance teams across Asia Pacific. 

  • Assist the Manager to drive:
    1. New projects – Process efficiencies, BDPs etc.
    2. New Process transitions
    3. Focus on standardization / harmonization / automation
  • Assist the Manager to implement the Regional Finance Center (RFC) Strategies

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Staffing primary responsibilities:

  • Prepare point in time, forward looking and historical deployment, and availability reports, by analysing information in the staffing system – each week, for weekly leadership meetings. 
  • Ensuring that the pipeline updates as well as open staffing gaps, are updated by each office in Asia Pacific ahead of the weekly staffing call. Also attend the call, send out key actions and next steps, post the call 
  • Consolidate case demand transfers on a monthly and quarterly basis – to track the people movement, as well as related revenue imports/exports.   
  • Weekly dashboard on new service lines like Vector, Experts 
  • Manage the Global Investment Staffing process – by tracking completion rates, at the end of each month, quarter, and year.  Also, co-ordinate with local offices as well as Global FP&A on appropriate case codes to ensure cost credits happen seamlessly. 
  • Prepare leadership dashboards at the end of each quarter – providing a consolidated view of deployments as well as investments.
  • Take overall accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the data in the staffing system and work with local office HCS administrators to test and correct the data as appropriate. 
  • Provide ad hoc support on reporting and analytical requests, as needed. 


Regional Finance secondary responsibilities:

  • Review regional entity general ledger and prepare journals as needed (including accruals and/or adjustments)
  • Maintain regional entity headcount spreadsheet and submit regional headcount numbers into Headcount system on a monthly basis
  • Prepare monthly profit and loss, headcount summary and variance analysis versus budget - work with each market in Asia Pacific to ensure detail of material variances is accurate
  • Provide other ad hoc support and analysis as required.
    • Prepare other management reporting analysis such as weekly commercial and pipeline update and analysis, monthly staffing and billing utilisation, monthly AR/DSO pay down, quarterly/half-yearly at-risk analysis.
    • Work with the Practice teams and prepare monthly dashboards and analysis.
    • Any other reporting and analysis as desired
  • Dashboard creation and reporting

  • Supporting on multiple organization projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


1. Essential

  • CA/ CA Inter or MBA (Finance) or M. Com
  • FP&A experience is desired
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in excel
  • At least 7+ years previous FP&A and accounting experience
  • High level technical skills, including Advanced Excel capability and strong Microsoft office skills (including Power Point)
  • Strong analytical skills in a commercial context – should be from a Finance or Business background
  • Experience in a professional services firm preferred but not essential
  • Worked for a multi-national structure supporting leadership in other markets 

2. Desired but not essential

  • Experience with Tableau and Alteryx
  • Experience in a Business consulting firm
