Takashi Kimoto

Takashi Kimoto has 43 years of experience in a wide variety of sales department activities at Alps Alpin (including sales, marketing, and sales promotion). He has gained extensive insights into the electronic and automotive industries.

From 1991 to 2000, he was stationed in San Jose, USA, where he developed various new customers in the IT equipment, consumer goods, vehicle components, and automotive system sectors. Additionally, leveraging his broad experience and networks in the global market (including North America, Europe, and Asia) and 15 years of experience as a senior management executive, he led diverse projects, such as company-wide structural reforms and generating synergies through integrations.

In 2016, he was appointed Senior Managing Director of Alps Electric. In 2019, he held the position of Executive vice president at Alps Alpine. From 2020 to 2021, he played a pivotal role as the leader of the Sirius Project, which promoted synergy effects and contributed significantly to performance improvement. He assumed the Advisor role at Alps Alpine in 2023 and joined Bain in 2024.

 He graduated with a BA in Marketing and International Trade from Chuo University.
