Many Korean managers emphasize the importance of extraordinary talent, but they do not seem to really understand the significance. In their recent book “Time, Talent & Energy,” Michael C. Mankins and Eric Garton, Bain & Company partners and experts in organizational management, argue that “global ‘outlier’ companies generate the best performance by applying a different personnel system to A-grade talent and allocate them to key tasks that have the biggest impact on corporate performance.”
